Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) will present an update on the major infrastructure and modernization projects reshaping Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The program will focus on improvements to landside access, including progress on the LAX Automated People Mover, a fully automated elevated train system that will connect airport terminals with the Metro transit center, economy parking, and the consolidated rental car facility.

This update will highlight key construction milestones, anticipated timelines, and operational benefits of the People Mover, along with other roadway and access enhancements underway at LAX. Attendees will gain insight into how these projects are expected to reduce congestion, improve connectivity, and create a more efficient and seamless experience for travelers, employees, and transportation partners across the region.
